Dolphins to Honour Overage Players on February 7

The Dorchester Dolphins will recognize a special group of players on Saturday, February 7, as the organization hosts its annual Overager Night at the Flight Exec Centre.

This evening is dedicated to honouring players who are competing in the final season of their junior hockey careers. Each of these athletes has made a meaningful impact on the Dolphins both on and off the ice, leaving a lasting mark on the organization.

The following overage players will be recognized during a pre-game ceremony prior to puck drop @ 7:30PM (as shown in the accompanying graphic):

  • Top Left – Nolan Burnside (#15): 145+ junior games played, first season with the Dolphins

  • Bottom Left – Wyatt Adkins (#26): 210+ junior games played, second season with the Dolphins

  • Middle – Matthew Sturgeon (#5): 170+ junior games played, third season with the Dolphins

  • Top Right – Damian Pancino (#12): 220+ junior games played, first season with the Dolphins

  • Bottom Right – Jarrett Humphries (#8): 150+ junior games played, fourth season with the Dolphins

Over the course of their junior careers, these players have demonstrated commitment, leadership, and passion for the game. Their contributions have helped shape the Dolphins both on the ice and in the locker room.

The Dolphins organization would like to thank Nolan, Wyatt, Matthew, Damian, and Jarrett for their dedication and leadership. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and join us in recognizing these players before puck drop as the Dolphins continue their push toward the playoffs.
